Parenting is the hardest role a person will take in their life time. I want to be the best mother I can be for my children. My kids and I are pretty much inseperable, except when they go to school. They are with me where ever I go and I get alot of compliments for that. With all the things happening in the world, the best thing I can do for my kids is to be a parent.

I take parenting very seriously, I am not just a mother, I am a friend, an educator, and a role model for my children. It is my job to provide for them what they will take with them throughout their daily lives and future. Love and nourishment are very important to our children as well. I need to be sturdy with them when needed and leanient when they deserve it. I do not spank my kids but, I do punish them if I need to. I have come to realize that if you take what is most important to them, like friends and video games, it hurts more than a spanking.

I enjoy being my kids friend but, when they need a mother instead, they know that I am here. I have taught my kids that they need to be kind and always respect others especially their elders. I have been told by others that my children are very well behaved and I take pride in that.

My children are not perfect and neither am I, as time goes by, I know that I will make mistakes and my kids will eventually act out. All I can do is be there for them and love them as my mother was and still continues to do for me.
